A breakfast fit for a king at École St-Joseph in Anjou
A group of around 30 students from École Saint-Joseph in Anjou got the royal treatment this morning with a breakfast masterfully concocted by three professional chefs. Giovanni Apollo, of Restaurant Apollo fame, Audrey Duchesne from Trois Petits Bouchons, put their culinary talents to the test to please their young patrons. On the menu: French crepes slathered with fresh fruit, coulis and real maple syrup. And although somewhat daunted by their special guests’ fancy black aprons, many of the kids gleefully went back for seconds!
The breakfast also served as an opportunity to announce a new partnership with Guestful, the proud creator of memorable dining experiences for Montreal foodies. For every experience purchased through their website, Guestful pledges to donate $1 to the Club to cover the cost of one school breakfast.
For Guestful co-founder and CEO Jean-David Bégin, the partnership is a natural fit: “Children’s health and education are a cause we care a great deal about. We are proud to support the Breakfast Club and help fulfill its mission.”
