How many eight-year-olds do you know who have raised $140 for the Breakfast Club of Canada? Well, we know one for sure, and her name is Marie-Soleil! She lives in Sainte-Adèle, a small community nestled in Quebec’s Laurentian Mountains. Her father is retired from the Canadian Armed Forces and a member of Veterans UN-NATO Canada. Another member of the group who was collecting bottle caps at veterans’ get-togethers gave Marie-Soleil the idea and the inspiration to do the same. Marie-Soleil chose to give to the breakfast program at the nearby École Saint-Joseph. Twice a year, she brings her diligently gathered bottle caps to a local blacksmith in exchange for cash, which she then donates to this very worthy cause. What a wonderful show of support from a wonderful little girl!
Thank you, Marie-Soleil!
