JOB DESCRIPTION
Breakfast Club of Canada is looking for a Donor Relations Coordinator for a 10-month temporary contract, with the possibility of extension. Reporting to the Corporate and Community Giving Director in Québec, this person will be coordinating all activities related to donor relations. They will also provide operational support to the members of the Philanthropy team in Quebec.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support corporate and individual donors in setting up their fundraising initiatives
- Monitor the Philanthropy team’s email inboxes on a daily basis.
- Coordinate fundraising initiatives by ensuring smooth communication between various internal and external stakeholders.
- Contribute to the implementation of the donor recognition plan
- Maintain data integrity in the CRM (Salesforce).
- Analyze, identify, and report new or existing donation opportunities to the Philanthropy team in Quebec to maximize revenue.
- Provide administrative support to the entire Philanthropy team as needed.
SPECIFIC QUALIFICATIONS
- College or university degree in a relevant field.
- 1 to 2 years of relevant experience.
- Knowledge of the philanthropic or nonprofit sector, an asset.
- Customer service experience and ability to interact with stakeholders at all levels
- Essential bilingualism (French and English), both spoken and written. (English is required for meetings several times a month with colleagues and partners across Canada, as well as for communications with donors and partners.).
- Excellent writing skills in both languages.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Familiarity with CRMs (knowledge of Salesforce, an asset).
- Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle for occasional travel.

WORKING CONDITIONS
- 10-months temporary contract
- 4 days/week.
