JOB DESCRIPTION
Breakfast Club of Canada is looking for a Marketing Communications Coordinator for a maternity leave replacement lasting 12 to 16 months, depending on the starting date. Reporting to the Senior Relationship Marketing and Digital Platforms Advisor, the selected candidate will be in charge of coordinating the Club’s newsletters. They will oversee production and distribution, analyze the content and ensure everything meets the highest industry standards. They will also be tasked with making regular updates to the Club’s website and contributing to various projects involving multiple teams, including promotional campaigns, as well as to the implementation of marketing strategies.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
- Oversee the production, distribution and management of the Club’s newsletters using Marketing Cloud software; ensure newsletter content meets quality and consistency requirements and is aligned with the needs of target audiences and the established strategy.
- Monitor newsletter KPIs, analyze the results and suggest improvements.
- Make updates to the website content, ensuring it adheres to CMS standards (WordPress).
- Coordinate promotional campaigns, validate deliverables with internal teams and liaise with suppliers.
- Provide support for various marketing initiatives (direct mail, social media, etc.) and ensure they meet deadlines and branding requirements.
- Contribute to the evaluation of marketing outcomes and prepare post-campaign assessments.
- Stay abreast of best practices in relationship marketing, email marketing and philanthropy.
SPECIFIC QUALIFICATIONS
- College diploma or university degree in marketing, business administration or another related discipline.
- One to two years of relevant experience.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and comfortable with technology.
- Experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud, an asset, or another digital marketing automation software.
- Familiar with CRM platforms (knowledge of Salesforce, an asset).
- Familiar with WordPress.
- Knowledge of leading social media platforms, an asset.
- Fluent in written and spoken French and English (English is required for meetings several times a month with colleagues and partners across Canada and for communicating with donors and partners).
