JOB DESCRIPTION

Breakfast Club of Canada is looking for a dynamic, morning person who is able to perform physical work on a daily basis to join our warehouse clerk team in Varennes. The successful candidate will perform various handling tasks related to the receiving, storage, preparation, and delivery of food, products, and equipment to ensure the optimal operation of the school breakfast programs. The person must be available during warehouse hours, Monday through Friday from 4:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. This is a seasonal position, 42 weeks per year, with summer off.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES 

• Load and unload trucks.
• Operate a forklift, hand truck, pallet jack, or other equipment to load, unload, transport, or store items.
• Prepare orders using purchase orders.
• Perform any other tasks related to warehousing.

SPECIFIC QUALIFICATIONS 

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1 to 2 years of experience in a similar warehouse job (any combination of relevant training and experience will be considered).
• Good spoken French and ability to read and understand purchase orders written in French.
• Ability to lift loads of up to 38 lbs several times a day.
• Experience using an electric pallet truck and valid license;
• Forklift operator license (an asset).

WORK CONDITIONS 

• Full-time, 40 hours per week.
• Monday to Friday, 4:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
• 8 hours per day, including meal break.
• Salary between $16.10/hour and $23.76/hour, depending on experience;
• Seasonal position: 42 weeks per year (summer off);
