Reporting to the Relational Marketing Senior Advisor, the successful candidate will help develop and maintain relationships with individual Breakfast Club of Canada donors. This person will participate actively in implementing marketing strategies, measure the outcomes and stay up to date on best practices in the area of philanthropy.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Coordinate writing, production and sending of personalized monthly newsletters.
  • Leverage the CRM to configure donor segmentation and create automated processes.

Reporting to the Corporate & Community Giving Lead, the Coordinator will play a vital role in growing the philanthropic support for BCC across Canada. As an energetic self-starter, and by taking a donor-centered approach, this person will work to deliver a top tier experience for prospective and current donors by being the first point of contact for philanthropic inquiries, tracking recognition milestones and ensuring timely and appropriate follow-up by the appropriate member of the National Philanthropy team. Additionally, this person will research appropriate philanthropic opportunities from foundations, and when appropriate, will prepare grant submissions and foundation proposals and reports. The Coordinator will work across BCC departments to develop and maintain internal processes aimed at maximizing revenue from these sources.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

Donor Relations:

Administration:

The selected candidate will be responsible for managing the recruitment process for the various positions to be filled within the organization on a Canada-wide basis. This will involve working closely with other HR team members and managers to source the best talent to support BCC’s growth.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Lead the entire recruitment process from beginning to end.
  • Identify recruitment strategies to attract qualified candidates, and keep up with the latest trends and best practices in recruitment.
  • Work with managers to identify their needs and job requirements for vacant positions.
  • Advise managers on best practices in recruitment and guide them in making decisions.
  • Find, review and assess potential candidates and their qualifications.
  • Proactively build and maintain a pool of qualified talent for future hiring needs.
  • Put forward and implement improvements to recruitment processes and tools.
  • Serve as an ambassador for Breakfast Club of Canada.

 

SPECIFIC QUALIFICATIONS
  • Two or more years of recruitment experience.
  • Diploma or degree in a relevant discipline.
  • Excellent command of written and spoken French and English, essential.
  • Ease in working with various recruitment technologies and platforms.
  • Familiarity with best practices in recruitment.
