Breakfast Club of Canada is looking to hire a Relational Marketing Coordinator to contribute to the organization’s Canada-wide growth.
Reporting to the Relational Marketing Senior Advisor, the successful candidate will help develop and maintain relationships with individual Breakfast Club of Canada donors. This person will participate actively in implementing marketing strategies, measure the outcomes and stay up to date on best practices in the area of philanthropy.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
- Coordinate writing, production and sending of personalized monthly newsletters.
- Leverage the CRM to configure donor segmentation and create automated processes.
- Participate in optimizing the database usage and individual donors’ data collection.
- Participate in the acquisition, conversion, engagement, and retention initiatives for individual donors.
- Work in close collaboration with the programs’ team to develop personalized content (testimonials, impactful stories, etc.).
- Generate and analyze database reports to track donation trends and identify development opportunities.
- Carry out administrative tasks related to the position (produce monthly reports, draft select documents, create and send newsletters, develop lists, coordinate mailouts).
- Help assess the effectiveness of selected marketing tactics.
- Stay informed of the latest industry trends.
- Respond to telephone and email inquiries related to marketing initiatives and oversee communication with current and prospective donors with professionalism and courtesy.
SPECIFIC QUALIFICATIONS
- University degree in marketing, business administration, communications or a related discipline.
- One to three years of experience in a marketing field and/or in philanthropy.
- Excellent command of written and spoken English and French.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (specifically Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook) and an aptitude for learning new applications quickly.
- Knowledge of CRM platforms (Salesforce, an asset), Google Analytics and Mailchimp or another email marketing program, an asset.
- Talent for writing compelling marketing copy, an asset.
