Together, let’s celebrate National Indigenous History Month!
Donations received throughout the month of June* will help Breakfast Club of Canada to support Indigenous communities in advancing their school food projects.
Throughout the month of June, Breakfast Club of Canada will be honouring the important work done by coordinators, volunteers, schools and communities across Canada in their breakfast programs and shining the spotlight on the heritage, history and diversity of First Nations, Inuit and Métis peoples from coast to coast to coast. In addition, donations received in June * will help BCC support Indigenous communities in advancing their school food projects.
Promoting Indigenous Foods and Cultures
At Breakfast Club of Canada, we adapt our approach and our methods in accordance with local needs and available resources to foster local leadership and encourage the development of a sustainable school meal program. Our goal is to facilitate the establishment of practices that value the Indigenous cultures and traditions.
Where your Donations will Make a Difference
From the start, the Club has always made it a priority to support the specific needs of Indigenous communities. Currently, the Club and its partners reach over 41,000 children each day in more than 350 programs in Indigenous communities or in public schools where at least 40% of the school population is Indigenous.
