Breakfast Club of Canada is looking to hire a Relational Marketing Coordinator to contribute to the organization’s Canada-wide growth. Reporting to the Senior Relational Marketing Advisor, the incumbent will work closely with the Communications and Marketing team, the Development team and the CRM specialist, and will liaise with individual BCC donors. They will ensure a high standard of customer service, stay up to date on best practices in the area of philanthropy, and participate actively in implementing marketing strategies and measuring the outcomes.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
Donor customer service:
  • Respond to telephone and email enquiries, and treat current and prospective donors with professionalism and courtesy
  • Call current donors to thank them for their generosity, make special experiences available to them and suggest additional opportunities to support BCC
Database management:
  • Help find ways to optimize the use of the donor database
  • Generate and analyze reports on donation patterns for individual donors, and identify opportunities for growth
  • Utilize CRM features to create newsletter campaigns and automate the corresponding processes
Relational marketing
  • Help develop and hone the relational marketing strategy (CRM, website, newsletters, etc.) and create effective, personalized communications aimed at individual donors
  • Coordinate direct mailing campaigns
  • Carry out administrative tasks related to the position (produce monthly reports, draft select documents, create and send newsletters, develop lists, coordinate mailouts)
  • Help assess the effectiveness of selected marketing tactics (donations, click-through rates, database signups, etc.)

 

SPECIFIC QUALIFICATIONS
  • University degree in marketing, business administration, communications or a related discipline
  • One to three years of experience in a customer service and/or marketing field
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English and French
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (specifically Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook) and an aptitude for learning new applications quickly
  • Knowledge of CRM platforms (Salesforce, an asset), Google Analytics and Mailchimp or another email marketing program, an asset
  • Talent for writing compelling marketing copy, an asset

WORK CONDITIONS
  • Permanent, full-time position
  • 40 hours/week, Monday to Friday
