Volunteers & School Community

School staff and volunteers: key players in breakfast programs

In accordance with the practices in effect within the school service centre, all volunteers are required to undergo a criminal background check conducted by the school and commit to complying with the standards set out in the school’s code of ethics.

Every morning, breakfast program volunteers and school staff across the country get up at the crack of dawn to prepare and serve a nutritious morning meal in the schools and organizations they serve. This section provides access to a variety of resources that will help you manage and supervise your breakfast program volunteers and on-site coordinators. These include recruitment and training tools and resources that will help you show your volunteers, staff members and other community contributors just how grateful you are.
