Breakfast Club of Canada is looking for a Corporate & Community Giving Coordinator. Reporting to the Corporate & Community Giving Lead – Quebec, the selected candidate will work closely with the Philanthropy team, providing support for donor outreach and event planning.
In addition to analyzing and helping respond to incoming fundraising-related enquiries, they will work toward building and maintaining long-term relationships with businesses and other members of the community that express an interest in supporting BCC through their initiatives.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
Fundraising support and donor outreach:
- Coordinate the various tasks involved in small and mid-sized fundraising efforts
- Oversee and diligently follow up on each of the steps in the cycle of assigned fundraising activities
- Prepare deliveries of materials sent to donors
- Provide technical support and guidance to donors using BCC’s P2P online platform for their fundraising efforts and ensure they have all the tools they need
- Help re-engage lapsed donors in order to leverage fundraising opportunities
- Represent BCC at various fundraising events in Quebec
- Monitor trends in the philanthropy and fundraising landscape
Administrative support:
- Help draft memorandums of understanding and confirmation letters
- Handle incoming calls and emails as needed and/or direct to the appropriate team member
- Make thank-you and solicitation calls
- Keep records and produce summaries and official reports regularly and as needed
- Ensure donor information is properly managed in the database
- Seek out in-kind partners to meet event-related needs
- Work in conjunction with other departments to bring assigned fundraising activities to a successful conclusion
SPECIFIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Undergraduate degree or college diploma in administration, marketing or a related field
- One to three years of relevant experience
- Fluency in written and spoken French and English
- Project management skills
- Knowledge of philanthropy, an asset
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and ability to learn new applications quickly
- Familiarity with CRM platforms (knowledge of Salesforce, an asset)
- Valid driver’s licence and access to a vehicle
- Availability to work outside of regular business hours to help with events (evenings and weekends)
